Adam Blackwell

Adam Blackwell is an experienced engineering manager currently at Klaviyo since January 2024. Prior to this role, Adam served as a senior engineering manager and site reliability engineer at 2U from November 2021 to January 2024 and edX from April 2019 to November 2021, respectively. Significant expertise in site reliability engineering was also gained during Adam's tenure at MassMutual, where software abstractions and CI/CD workflows were improved. Earlier experience includes operations engineering at Quantopian and founding member responsibilities at Cuttyhunk Community Kitchen. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, completed in 2014, and has a diverse background spanning several technical and community-focused roles.
