Luke Acre has a diverse work experience in the mining and industrial sectors. In 2019, they worked as a Mechanic at Thyssen Mining for four months. In 2020, they served as a Mechanic Electrician at BLACK FOX MINING for nine months. In 2021, Luke worked at two different companies. Luke was a Mechanic at Hecla Greens Creek Mining Company from January to May, and then they worked as a Maintenance Foreman at New Elk Coal from May to August. In August 2021, they joined Cementation Americas as a Mechanic and worked there until July 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Consultant at Phoenix Mining, starting in July 2022.
Luke Acre attended Colorado Mountain College from 1993 to 1996, where they focused on Business Administration and Management. Luke obtained several certifications in various fields, including becoming an Instructor in Part 48 Surface and Underground from the Mine Safety and Health Administration in December 2022. In August 2016, they obtained certification as an Electrical Instructor from the Mine Safety and Health Administration. Furthermore, Luke received certifications as an Impoundment Inspector from MSHA in April 2015, a Mine Foreman (Underground) from the State of Colorado in July 2011, a Mine Fire Boss from the State of Colorado in August 2009, and a Mine Shot Firer (Underground) from the State of Colorado in August 2008. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Machinist Journeyman from the U.S. Department of Labor in May 2001, and as an Electrical Underground and Surface worker from the Mine Safety and Health Administration in November 2009.
