Kurt Jakobsen

Kurt Jakobsen is a software engineer with extensive experience in data processing and software development, currently working at Sulmara Subsea since January 2021, where Kurt has developed a collaboration platform for hydrographical survey project data utilizing the Flask framework and Postgres. Previous roles include data processing at Guardian Geomatics Pty Ltd and significant contributions at Swire Seabed, where Kurt created in-house software for subsea data analysis. Kurt has also worked as a 3.4U subsea inspection engineer at DOF Subsea and held various engineering and management positions at OSI Optoelectronics AS, WesternGeco, and DOF Subsea Norway AS. Kurt's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/Power Electronics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
