Saku Vanhala

Saku Vanhala has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Project Engineer at UPM Kymmene for a year. In 2001, they joined Metso Paper as a Product Sales Manager and continued in that role until 2007. In 2008, they transitioned to Sulzer, where they held several positions, beginning as a Sales Team Leader for Spare Parts until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they served as an Area Sales Manager. Following that, they became a Product Portfolio Manager from 2015 to 2021. In 2021, they were promoted to Head of Product Management, and in 2024, they assumed the role of Head of Portfolio Management at Sulzer.

From 1995 to 2001, Saku Vanhala attended LUT University where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management.
