Mike Jakubow has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Mike began their career in 2001 as a Marketing Assistant at Interscope Records. Mike then worked at Victory Records from 2002 to 2007, where they were initially responsible for college radio promotions and later moved on to specialty and commercial radio campaigns. During this time, they worked with high-profile artists such as Atreyu, Hawthorne Heights, and Taking Back Sunday. From 2007 to 2008, they were the National Director for Rock at Caroline Distribution, leading successful campaigns for artists like Cinder Road, Soilwork, In This Moment, and Kittie. Mike then joined Century Media Records as the National Director of Radio Promotions from 2008 to 2010. After that, they worked at Rise-Up Promotions Inc as the National Radio Promotions Manager from 2010 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Sumerian Records, where they initially served as the Vice President and Radio Promotions Manager from 2013 to 2018, and subsequently became the Vice President in 2017.
From 1997 to 2001, Mike Jakubow attended Columbia College Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Music.
