Suresh Thiyagarajan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in carbon neutrality and quality assurance within the chemical industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Carbon Neutrality & Responsible Care at SUMITOMO CHEMICAL ASIA PTE LTD since July 2012, Suresh leads initiatives promoting the company's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality and collaborates with technical experts to reach net zero targets. Previously, as a Quality Assurance Manager and Deputy Technical Manager, Suresh focused on quality performance, management systems compliance, and audit leadership. Prior experience includes leading a team as a Senior Process Engineer at Teijin Polycarbonate Singapore Pte Ltd, emphasizing production, safety targets, and process improvements. Suresh holds a Master of Science in Safety, Health, and Environmental Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, in addition to pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Driving Sustainability for the Future at Singapore Management University.
