George Diaconu

George Diaconu is an experienced project manager currently leading the Mercedes-Benz MMA project at Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE since March 2023. Prior to this role, George served as Deputy Head of Engineering in the aerospace sector at Universal Alloy Corporation from June 2019 to February 2023. George's career also includes significant positions at LEONI, including Operational Manager and Engineering Manager for the Mercedes-Benz E Class, as well as Industrial Engineer within the Business Unit for Mercedes-Benz. George began professional experience as an Engineer at Mebis SA, working with clients such as Krupp Germany and Maschio Italy from September 1998 to May 2002. George holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Hydraulics and Pneumatics from "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, earned between 1993 and 1998.
