Hugh Crawford

Hugh Crawford has extensive work experience in the HR field, spanning over multiple companies. Hugh currently works at SMBC Group as the Head of HR Operations. Prior to this, they worked at MUFG as a Change Manager (Workday) from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they were employed at RBS where they held various roles, including HR Project Manager/Consultant, HR Programme Manager, Head of HR Shared Services, and Customer Delivery Manager, HR Shared Services. At RBS, Crawford was responsible for managing HR projects, establishing compensation and benefits policies, and leading a team of 40 people supporting HR operations in APAC. Additionally, they worked as a Delivery Manager, HR MI at RBS from 2008 to 2011, where they reported on global HR metrics and supported critical change programs. Prior to that, they served as an HRIS Project Manager and HRIS Data Analyst, where they handled data collation and cleansing.

Hugh Crawford attended the University of Edinburgh from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a 2.1 degree in Latin and Ancient History. Prior to that, they studied at Sherborne School.
