Zhi Chen

Zhi Chen has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. They have held various roles, starting with Sales Representative and Lead Teller at Flushing Bank in 2005. Later, they worked as a Senior Staff Auditor at Dime Community Bank from 2007 to 2011, conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits. Zhi then joined Accume Partners as a Senior Audit Consultant, performing consulting engagements and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations from 2011 to 2013. They continued their auditing career at The First National Bank of Long Island, where they worked as an Auditor, conducting internal control assessments and executing audits. Zhi also worked at HSBC as an AVP, Senior Compliance Testing and Monitoring Officer, where they performed in-depth assessments and testing reviews across various banking sectors. After that, at Scotiabank, Zhi served as a Senior Compliance Testing Officer, responsible for compliance testing activities. Currently, Zhi is working at SMBC Group as an Internal Audit Manager, VP.

Zhi Chen attended Queens College from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.
