Jani Markkanen

Jani Markkanen has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Jani currently holds the position of Director of Engineering Information Technology at Sumitomo SHI FW since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ANDRITZ from 2008 to 2023, where they held various roles including Engineering Manager, Tools; Team Leader, Engineering tools support; Comos coordinator; and Project engineer / Comos administrator. In addition, they worked as an Automation engineer at Ramboll Finland Oy from 2006 to 2008.

Jani Markkanen obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician from Savonia amk in 1999-2003. Jani then pursued a Master's degree in Data Processing from the University of Eastern Finland from 2004-2007.
