Makaela Bigley E.i.

Makaela Bigley, E.I. is a Mechanical Designer at Summer Consultants, Inc. since July 2022, following a role as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Penn State Architectural Engineering Department from January 2020 to May 2022. Previous experience includes mechanical engineering internships at Summer Consultants, Inc. in 2021 and 2020, and project management internship at the Penn State Office of Physical Plant from January 2019 to April 2020. Leadership roles included President, Secretary, and Media Chair of the Student Society of Architectural Engineers from August 2017 to April 2020, and an undergraduate research assistant position at the ChoroPhronesis Lab at Penn State in 2018. Makaela holds a Master's degree in Architectural Engineering and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, along with honors from the Schreyer Honors College.
