Adrian R.

Adrian R. has over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Adrian began their career in 2002 as a Senior Scientist/Principal Scientist at Bausch and Lomb. In 2006, they moved to Brookwood Pharmaceuticals (Acquired by Surmodics 08/2007) as a Senior Engineer I/Project Manager. In 2009, they joined SurModics Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Manager - Feasibility and Manager - Formulation Development. In 2012, they worked as an Applications Development Scientist at SiO2 Medical Products and as a Manager of Pharmaceutical Development at Summit Biosciences Inc. In 2013, they became the Director, Formulation Research and Development at Coldstream Laboratories, Inc. and, in 2015, they were appointed Director, Research and Development at Piramal Pharma Solutions. Since 2018, Adrian R. has been the Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Summit Biosciences Inc.

Adrian R. began their educational journey at Russell High School, graduating in 1993. Adrian then attended the University of Kentucky, where they earned a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1997. Adrian followed this up with an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the same university in 1999. Finally, Adrian R. completed their educational career at the University of Kentucky, obtaining a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 2002.
