Austin Sivoravong is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in both outdoor recreation and scientific research. Currently serving as a full-time routesetter at Summit Climbing, Yoga & Fitness since June 2019, Austin is certified as a Level 1 routesetter and a Level 2 coach by USAClimbing. Previous roles include an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Lee Hughes' lab at the University of North Texas from May 2016 to August 2018, focusing on the characteristics of bacteriophages, and a summer research fellow with the American Society for Microbiology during 2017. Additional experience includes supervising at the UNT Outdoor Pursuits Center and working as a lifeguard at The Keller Pointe. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Texas, completed in 2018.
