Emily Padvorac is a geographic information system specialist at Summit Design and Engineering Services, with previous experience as a highway safety analyst at VHB and an implementation data specialist at Sitation. Prior roles include serving as a geographic information systems technician at Timmons Group, where responsibilities included supporting the maintenance of the Linear Referencing System for NCDOT/DIT and processing road addition documents. Emily also gained meteorological experience through internships at Time Warner Cable News and WNCN, where skills in weather forecasting and news reporting were developed. Emily holds a Master of Science in Applied Urban Science and Informatics from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from North Carolina State University.
