Andy Whitaker is a seasoned professional in the fire protection and safety industry, currently serving as a Service Sales Representative at Summit Fire & Security since September 2022. With an extensive background at Fire & Life Safety America since February 2004, Andy has held various positions including Contract Sales Representative, Service Sales Representative, Inspector, Service Technician, Contract Foreman, and Apprentice/Sprinkler Fitter. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Oreck Corporation from 2001 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Technical degree in Fire Protection from Seminole State College, specialized certifications as a Burglar Alarm System Agent and Fire Alarm System Agent, NICET Level II in Inspection & Testing of Water Based Systems, and certifications in backflow prevention testing and repairs from the University of Florida (TREEO).
