Brooke Knudten

Brooke Knudten is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in mathematics and reading intervention. Currently employed as a Mathematics & Reading Interventionist at Summit Middle School since August 2020, Brooke has demonstrated a commitment to improving student performance, significantly increasing MAP test scores through tailored instruction. Previously, Brooke served in various educational roles, including Math Interventionist & STEM Teacher and Mentor Teacher at Saydel Schools, where collaboration with fellow educators led to substantial gains in student assessment scores. Brooke's teaching experience also includes positions as an 8th Grade Math Teacher, 5th Grade Teacher, and supporting student affairs as a Receptionist at Drake University. Holding both a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Mathematics for the Middle Grades from the University of Northern Iowa, Brooke is well-equipped to foster academic success in diverse learning environments.
