Leia Swanson

Leia Swanson has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic training and personal training. Leia began their career as an Athletic Trainer at Park High School in 2005 and worked there until June 2015. In 2012, they also started working as a Personal Trainer and Running Coach at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, where they stayed until August 2015. Additionally, Leia worked as a Personal Trainer at Anytime Fitness from October 2012 to May 2014. Leia'smost recent role was at Summit Orthopedics, where they started as a Clinical Athletic Trainer in August 2015 and later became the Athletic Training Outreach Lead in December 2019.

Leia Swanson received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees from Denison University in 2004, where they studied Biology and Athletic Training. Leia obtained the certification of Licensed Athletic Trainer from the Minnesota Boards of Medical Practice in 2005, and became a Certified Athletic Trainer from the Boards of Certification in 2004.
