Matthias G. Allgaier

Matthias joined Summit Partners in 2015 and focuses primarily on the technology sector in Europe. He is a German national and speaks German and English.

Matthias currently serves on the boards of Appway, Elatec, Market Logic, ProGlove, Signavio and zahneins (acquired by PAI Partners).

Prior to Summit, Matthias was a Managing Director with H.I.G. Capital Europe, where he focused on investments in the technology and business services sectors. While at H.I.G., his directorships included: FNZ Ltd, Duales System Deutschland, Fibercore Ltd, AR Metalizing, International Schools of Europe, The Engine Group and VNU Media. Matthias began his career with Apax Partners and General Atlantic Partners.

Matthias holds an MBA from Mannheim University and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Karl Franzens University.
