Stephen Clark, Maj Gen, USAF (Ret) has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Stephen is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Summit Technology Laboratory (STL), a deep-tech start-up focused on developing the next generation platform for fully automated Spatially Augmented Reality. Stephen oversees all aspects of the company and aims to provide technology that fades into the background for customers to focus on their business.
Prior to their role as CEO, Clark served as the Chief Business Officer and Chief Operating Officer at STL, where they contributed to the advancement of their patented software platform for projection mapping. Stephen successfully completed several contracts with AFWERX and Disaster Tech, and the company's technology has found applications in commercial, public, and defense sectors.
Additionally, Clark has held roles in various organizations, including being a Member of the Board of Advisors at Disaster Tech, an Independent Director at Education Loan Finance (ELFI), and a Faculty Member at IANS. Stephen Clark, Maj Gen, USAF (Ret) began their education journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 1982 and 1986. Later on, in 1993 to 1995, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Troy University. Additional educational achievements include a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies, which they obtained from the U.S. Naval War College during 1999 to 2000.
Seeking further education, Stephen Clark attended Harvard University in 2005 to 2006 as a National Defense Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, where they pursued studies related to their field of interest.
