Urte Gayko

Urte Gayko has a strong background in regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance. Urte most recently held the position of Chief of Regulatory, Quality and PV at Summit Therapeutics, Inc., starting in November 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Regulatory, Quality and Safety at Summit Therapeutics and a Board Member. Before joining Summit Therapeutics, they worked at Nektar Therapeutics as the Senior VP of Drug Development & Regulatory Affairs. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Global Head of Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance at Pharmacyclics LLC, an Abbvie Company. Additionally, they held various positions at Amgen, including Director of Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Scientist. Overall, Urte Gayko has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, particularly in regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance.

Urte Gayko holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University.
