Melanie Klein

Melanie Klein has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Melanie is currently the Director of Product and Packaging Innovation at Sun Bum since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked at SKLZ as a Senior Product Development and Sourcing Manager from April 2016 to February 2019. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining product costing, coordinating product development, and developing a sourcing strategy. Before that, Melanie worked at Oakley as an Apparel Developer-Technical Outerwear from May 2013 to April 2016, where they focused on development for men's and women's technical outerwear. Melanie worked closely with design and manufacturing partners to ensure design integrity and on-time delivery. Prior to that, they worked at Electric Yoga Michele Bohbot as an Assistant Designer/Product Development from March 2011 to April 2013, where they worked directly with the head designer and conducted research on technical fabrics and garment construction. In addition, Melanie had interned at Bisou Bisou and worked as a Customer Service Associate at Old Navy.

Melanie Klein obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Product Development from FIDM between the years 2008 and 2010. Later, they pursued another Associate of Arts (AA) degree in International Manufacturing and Product Development at FIDM from 2010 to 2011.
