Mark Breitenfelder

Mark Breitenfelder has extensive work experience in finance and controlling roles. Mark is currently the Director of Finance & Controlling Color Materials at Sun Chemical since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at BASF for 20 years, holding various roles such as Director of Financial Controlling Pigments, Project Director, Director of Strategic Controlling, Head of Global BU Controlling Leather & Textile Chemicals, Head of Regional BU Controlling Leather & Textile Chemicals, and Division Controller BASF Coatings. Mark also had internships at Dystar Thai Ltd. as a Finance Intern and at Bayer (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. as a Controlling Intern in the year 2000.

Mark Breitenfelder attended the University of Bayreuth from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration (Diplom Kaufmann). Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they worked at Treuhand Oldenburg & Partner as an Assistant Tax Adviser (Steuerfachgehilfe), specializing in Taxation. In 2018, Mark received an additional certification in the Advanced International Corporate Finance Programme from INSEAD.
