Philipp Aichele

Philipp Aichele has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Philipp is currently the Director of Engineering EMEA at Sun Chemical since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Heraeus from 2009 to 2019, where they held various positions including Direttore Tecnico / Technischer Direktor at Argor-Heraeus SA, Global Head of Group Engineering, and Vice President of Global Engineering & Operations Coordination. Before joining Heraeus, they worked at Clariant as the Head of Regional Engineering Center for Latin America and as the Head of Project Engineering. Their early career includes a role as a Project Manager at Aventis Research & Technologies and a Project Engineer at Hoechst AG.

Philipp Aichele obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Verfahrenstechnik from the University of Stuttgart, where they studied from 1987 to 1993. In 1991 to 1992, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemical Engineering at The University of Manchester.
