Ruth Bauer

Ruth Bauer has extensive work experience in the field of sustainability and color materials. Ruth currently holds the position of Head of Sustainability, Color Materials & Global Sustainability Data Management at Sun Chemical since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Expert & Head of Sustainability, Color Materials at the same company from January 2022 to June 2023. Ruth also worked as a Senior Expert Printing & Sensitive Applications and Global Sustainability Manager at Sun Chemical from July 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Sun Chemical, Ruth had various roles at BASF Colors & Effects GmbH, including Global Sustainability Manager from February 2020 to July 2021 and Senior Expert Printing & Sensitive Applications from May 2019 to July 2021. Ruth started their career at BASF in 2002, where they held positions such as Technical Marketing Manager Effects, Technical Marketing Manager, and Global Technical Manager Pigments. Ruth's work experience spans over a decade in the industry.

Ruth Bauer completed their education with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree from 1998 to 2002. Before that, they attended Berufskolleg Institut Dr. Flad Stuttgart from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a degree as a Chemical-technical assistant. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Certified ESG Officer from HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration in 2022.
