Joel Romaine

Joel Romaine has over three decades of experience in the financial services and community service sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Sun East Federal Credit Union, Joel previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Community Powered Federal Credit Union for over two decades, where responsibilities included daily operations, compliance, and staff training. Joel's leadership experience extends to roles such as Chairman of the Board at Trinity United Methodist Church and Director at Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc. Additionally, Joel served on the Delaware Credit Union League Board and held directorships in early childhood education through Concord Day Care. Joel began a career in the financial sector as a Lending Manager at Atlantic Employees Federal Credit Union and gained initial experience as an Insurance Agent at Prudential Financial. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
