Brian Hughes

Brian Hughes has worked in various roles throughout their career. Brian began their professional journey as a Staff Accountant at Bock, Kornsnack and Hinds, CPAs in 1979. In 1980, they joined Hayes Travel as an Executive Vice President and worked there until 1995. During this time, they gained valuable experience in leadership and management. In 1995, Brian joined Sun Federal Credit Union and held several positions, including Vice President of Finance, Wealth and Business Solutions, and Executive Vice President. Brian eventually became the President and CEO in February 2019 and retired in May 2022.

Brian Hughes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Huntington University, where they attended from 1975 to 1979. Brian then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Management at The University of Toledo from 1984 to 1987.
