Robert Rohr

Robert Rohr, JD, MA, SPHR, GPHR, CHC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of corporate compliance, human resources, and healthcare. Robert is currently serving as the Director of Corporate Compliance at Sun Life Health since 2021 and has held the position of Director of Human Resources and Corporate Compliance at the same company from 2019 to 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Compliance Analyst at The University of New Mexico Health System in 2017 and as a Human Resources Business Partner at MHM Services, Inc. in 2016. Robert has also served as the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Compliance at Kewa Pueblo Health Corporation from 2014 to 2015 and as the Corporate Director of Human Resources and Compliance at Haverland Carter Lifestyle Group from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Human Resources and Corporate Compliance at Pueblo of Jemez from 2008 to 2012 and worked as the Director of Employee Relations at Grady Health System from 1996 to 2008. Early in their career, they served as an Administrative Law Attorney in the US Army from 1990 to 1996.

Robert Rohr has a strong educational background with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Georgia State University and a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Affairs from Florida State University. Robert also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Latin American Studies Certificate from The University of Georgia. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Theology (ThD) degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary and holds an Associate Degree in Biblical Ministries from Harvestime International Institute. In terms of certifications, Robert is a Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB), a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Robert is also admitted to practice law in Alaska, Arizona (In-house counsel), and Georgia, as well as the U.S. Tax Court. Additionally, they hold a Certificate in Baltic Ice Navigation from Baltic Icebreaking Management (BIM) in Gothenburg, Sweden.
