Heather Berquist

Heather Berquist started their career in 2010 as a Youth Athletic Program facilitator at i9 Sports, where they managed and facilitated team sports programs for kids, focusing on fun, safety, and good sportsmanship. Heather also researched and designed new learning modules and activities to aid in skill development. In the same year, they also joined WSLR 96.5 LPFM as a Radio Programmer, where they featured locally produced programming to inform and empower listeners on cultural, artistic, and political perspectives currently underrepresented in the media. The station promoted equality, peace, sustainability, democracy, and social and economic justice. In 2007, Heather joined Starbucks as a Store Manager/Manager Trainer, where they demonstrated their passion and leadership skills in customer service, sales, recruiting, customer satisfaction, and operations and P&L management. Heather'stenure at Starbucks lasted until 2021. Most recently, in 2022, Heather became Human Resources Manager at Sun Protection of Florida.

Heather Berquist attended Ringling College of Art and Design from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Sculpture.
