Taylor Brown

Taylor Brown co-founded Sun Tribe Solar in 2016 and launched Sun Tribe Development with Danny Van Clief in 2019. As Chief Technical Officer Taylor brings a decade of experience in the energy industry, from project management to tax equity acquisition and contract execution. He has provided technical support for projects up to 920 MW in generation capacity throughout the country, including Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Virginia. He has also overseen Sun Tribe’s development as the fastest growing company in the mid-Atlantic and a trusted partner for Virginia’s investor owned utilities.

Previously, Taylor worked for Siemens Energy North America, where he advised two of the largest utilities in North America (Entergy and Exelon) on planned outages, and served as the Technical Support Manager for field operations. Earlier in his career with Siemens, Taylor spent nearly five years overseeing large-scale energy generation projects throughout the United States, ranging in size from 150MW to 920MW.
