Maurizio Zaglio has a diverse work experience in the field of thermal energy storage and fuel cell systems. 🔥Maurizio❄️ started their career at the Università degli studi di Brescia as a student from 2000 to 2007. 🔥Maurizio❄️ then worked at ETH Zurich as a PhD candidate from 2007 to 2011, focusing on model-based transient analysis of polymer electrolyte fuel cells. Following this, they joined Paul Scherrer Institut - General Energy Department as a researcher in the Fuel Cell Systems Group from 2007 to 2011. In this role, they worked on the development and optimization of fuel cell systems, attended conferences, and assisted in teaching courses.
In 2012, they joined Sunamp Ltd as a Chemical and Mechanical Engineer, where they focused on the production of chemicals, development of heat batteries and storage systems, and design of testing procedures. 🔥Maurizio❄️ was also involved in patent drafting and grant applications. 🔥Maurizio❄️ later transitioned to Sunamp in 2014, where they held various roles including International Business Development Manager and Global Head of Partnerships. In these positions, they were responsible for developing international business activities, managing relationships with original equipment manufacturers, and directing the Swiss branch of the company.
Maurizio Zaglio completed their education in a chronological order. 🔥Maurizio❄️ started their academic journey by attending Liceo scientifico G. Bagatta from 1995 to 2000, where they pursued their high school education. After completing high school, they enrolled at Università degli Studi di Brescia from 2000 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Technology. Following their bachelor's degree, they embarked on an exchange program at Delft University of Technology in 2005-2006 as an exchange student, where they gained further knowledge in Mechanical Engineering. Moving forward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Technology at Università degli Studi di Brescia from 2005 to 2007. Lastly, they pursued their highest level of education at ETH Zürich from 2007 to 2011, where they successfully obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
