Michael Edmonds

Michael Edmonds is a Project Engineer III at Sunapsys. Michael previously worked as an Engineering Analyst Intern at Intertape Polymer Group from June 2013 to August 2013. There, they updated plant layouts and individual machine drawings using AutoCAD 2012. Michael also researched and negotiated the purchase of a Sharp Aquos Interactive Display Board. In addition, they negotiated and oversaw the construction of fencing for a mechanical room. Michael also monitored production machinery to improve efficiency and utilized an ultrasonic device to detect leaks in a compressed air system to reduce energy costs.

From June 2012 to August 2012, Michael worked as a Construction/Project Management Intern at Jacobs. There, they created technical manuals listing parts and equipment in process flow systems. Michael also ensured that field construction matched drawings and updated Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Prior to working in construction and engineering, Michael was an Electrical Maintenance Technician at Beach Bum Tanning from September 2012 to May 2014. Michael was also an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Rockingham County Public Schools from November 2011 to February 2014.

Michael Edmonds holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from James Madison University. Michael is also certified by Inductive Automation in Ignition 8.1 Gold Level SCADA Software Certification, Inductive Automation in Ignition 8.0 Gold Level SCADA Software Certification, Inductive Automation in Ignition 7.9 Gold Level SCADA Software Certification, Inductive Automation in Ignition 7.8 Gold Level SCADA Software Certification, and Inductive Automation in Ignition 7.7 Gold Level SCADA Software Certification. In addition, they hold a certification from NCEES in Engineer In Training (EIT).
