Ali Getraan

Ali Getraan has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as a Senior Project Lead at Suncor since October 2014, where the focus is on developing In-Situ facilities and implementing surface and subsurface technologies. Previous roles include Reliability Engineer at Suncor, Maintenance Team Lead at Olive Holding, Project Engineer at Gulf House Engineering, and Mechanical Engineer in HVAC for the Ministry of Oil-Iraq. Ali possesses a strong background in reliability-centered maintenance, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement, complemented by a solid educational foundation including a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and two Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and English Language and Literature/Translation.
