Craig Coolen

Craig Coolen has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as General Manager for Mildred Lake Mine Extraction and Tailings Operations at Suncor since December 2021. Prior to this role, Craig held various leadership positions at Syncrude Canada Ltd. from January 2006 to December 2021, including Director of Tailings and Lease Development, Director of Mine Mobile Maintenance, and Business Team Leader at the Aurora North operation. Craig's foundational roles included positions as Mining Superintendent, Business Advisor, Shift Team Leader, and Heavy Equipment Operator. Craig is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
