Hitendra Patel

Hitendra Patel, P. Eng. has extensive experience in engineering within the energy sector, currently serving as the Field Engineering Lead at Suncor Energy since September 2014. In this role, Hitendra is the lead technical representative for construction activities, overseeing all site-related technical functions and providing guidance to discipline field engineers while interfacing with discipline leads and stakeholders to resolve engineering issues. Prior to this, Hitendra held various positions within Suncor Energy's Major Projects Group and contributed as a Process Safety Information Specialist. Hitendra began their career as a Piping Stress Engineer at Worley Parsons. Hitendra holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. University, obtained between 1983 and 1988.
