Tu Ngo has an extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Starting in 2003, they worked as a NTS Apparel Designer for Nike, designing women's licensed products with focus on performance apparel for team sports and related lifestyle collections. In 2004, they worked as a Women Designer for AG Jeans, designing women's premium denim collections with emphasis on fit and brand building. In 2006, Tu Ngo worked as a BB Dakota Woven Designer for Nzania, designing woven sportswear (bottoms, tops, dresses) for a young contemporary line. Tu also worked as a knit designer for OP Girl in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Lucky Brand Swimwear Designer for Lunada Bay Corp, designing the swim collection 09 in liason with Lucky Brands headquarter. In 2009, they worked as a Senior Designer for Howe LLC, designing men sportswear for the contemporary market, and as a Creative Consultant for Tu Studio. Tu also worked as a Freelance designer for CMT-Canada, designing and developing men denim collection for a new contemporary brand Naked Blue. In 2021, they started working as a Senior Designer for Sunday Afternoons.
Tu Ngo attended Otis College of Art and Design from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion/Apparel Design.
