Amal Lakhani

Amal Lakhani has a solid background in sourcing and procurement. They have experience working with various companies in the beauty and airline industries.

Starting in 2015, Amal worked as a Procurement Intern at Southwest Airlines, where they fostered supplier relationships, managed contracts, and introduced cost-saving measures.

In 2016, they joined Charming Charlie as a Procurement Specialist. In this role, they determined the necessary goods for store construction and exceeded growth goals through effective capital management and supplier performance.

Amal then moved on to Sunday Riley in 2018, initially as a Production Coordinator. They managed research and profiling for new suppliers, sourced packaging materials, and vetted potential partners for product launches. Later, as a Sourcing Manager, Amal championed full-scale sourcing and procurement of raw materials, analyzed purchasing trends, and consolidated spend across the supply base.

In 2021, Amal joined FORMA Brands as a Sourcing and Procurement Manager. They held multiple roles within the company, including managing sourcing and procurement for Born Dreamer, Jaclyn Cosmetics, and Morphe/M2.

Currently, Amal is serving as the Senior Manager of Sourcing and Procurement at Sunday Riley, starting in 2023. They lead the strategic sourcing and procurement efforts to support successful product launches.

Through their work experience, Amal has developed strong skills in supplier relationship management, cost-saving strategies, and analyzing purchasing trends.

Amal Lakhani pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Houston. Amal completed their undergraduate education from 2010 to 2015.
