Yanyee Chen

Yanyee Chen is an experienced professional in the Semiconductor and Photovoltaic (PV) industries, currently serving as Managing Director at Y&I Consulting since November 2016. With a solid background at SunEdison since January 2008, Yanyee has taken on various roles including Director of Quality Management and Corporate Quality Manager, focusing on supplier quality, customer quality management, and technical support across the solar material supply chain. Previous positions include Foundry Operation Manager at Aurora System California and Customer Engineering at SMIC, where Yanyee managed technical issues for numerous U.S. clients. Early career experience as a Process Engineer at Silterra Malaysia laid the foundation for a robust technical skill set. Yanyee holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Dalian University of Technology.
