Andrea Bourke is an accomplished engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and significant experience in research and development. Currently serving as an Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since March 2020, Andrea has previously held roles such as Lead Mechanical Component Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at ABB, where responsibilities included R&D for Electrification Products. Andrea's expertise was further developed during an earlier tenure at GE, working on electrical distribution products, and through completion of the Edison Engineering Development Program, focusing on product development and leadership training. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, complemented by roles in sustainability and machine shop education during academic tenure.
