Jason Gray

Jason Gray has held a variety of roles in the corporate world since 2001. Jason began their career at Cargill as a Management Trainee and was quickly promoted to Regulatory Affairs Superintendent, Technical Services and Production Manager. In 2004, they began working at Meyers Norris Penny LLP as a Manager and also took on a Consultant role at Trident Exploration. In 2008, they joined SunEdison as General Manager of SunEdison Canada and Vice President of SunEdison. In 2013, they co-founded SunFarmer and served on the Board of Directors. In 2015, they were part of the S15 batch of Y Combinator and in 2017, they became a Member of the Board of Directors for WesternOne Inc. In 2016, they founded and became the Managing General Partner of Pioneer Fund.

Jason Gray attended the University of Calgary from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a BA in Law, Northern Planning and Development Studies. Jason then attended the University of Saskatchewan from 2000 to 2001, studying Agriculture. In 2003, they returned to the University of Calgary and obtained an MBA in Finance in 2006. In 2015, they attended Y Combinator for their S15 program.
