Robert Rigdon

Robert Rigdon is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at SunGas Renewables since September 2020 and Managing Partner at LEAP Development, L since June 2020, Rigdon has previously held significant leadership roles, including President and CEO at Synthesis Energy Systems, Inc. from May 2008 to May 2020. Additional roles include Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Operating Officer at the same company, along with serving as Gasification Director for Industrial and Chemicals at GE Infrastructure from April 2007 to April 2008 and Vice President of Gasification Technology at Texaco from 2003 to 2004. Rigdon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University, completed in 1981.
