Janet Kirkwood

Janet Kirkwood has extensive experience in the disability services sector, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing accommodation services since joining Sunnyfield in November 1993. Janet's roles have evolved from Service Coordinator to Regional Manager, overseeing the growth from nine houses to a fully integrated service model focused on continuous improvement. Janet's expertise includes managing group homes for adults with intellectual disabilities and facilitating training programs for school leavers entering employment. Additional experience includes a tenure as Service Manager at Cerebral Palsy Alliance, managing two group homes, and at Sunnyfield, where Janet managed a care setting for residents with intellectual disabilities and age-related challenges. Janet holds an Advanced Diploma in Disability Work from RMIT University and furthered education at the University of Sydney.
