Joseph Kim

Joseph Kim is currently the President and CEO of Sunoco. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President, Engineering & Global CTO of SolarWinds from February 2016 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the overall technology strategy, direction and execution for all SolarWinds products and systems for both SolarWinds (SWI) and N-Able (NABL). Joseph also led the internal business application and information technology groups, ensuring that the G&A functions were all aligned from a systems perspective.

Kim first joined SolarWinds when it was going private and played a key role in helping to double the size of the business and take the company public in October 2018. Joseph then helped the organization plan the split of SolarWinds into two public companies (SWI and NABL). Prior to SolarWinds, Kim served as the President & CEO of Vation Ventures, Andela, and SmartBear.

Joseph Kim received a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Criminology & Law Studies from Marquette University.
