Ed McMahon

Vice President Of Quality at Sunrise Senior Living

Ed McMahon, Ph.D. has worked in the field of quality improvement and oversight for senior living and healthcare companies. From 2000 to 2013, they served as the National Director of Quality at Golden Living, where they focused on clinical quality improvement initiatives and supported Alzheimer's products and quality of life initiatives. Ed also provided support and education for AHCA quality award applicants and served on the board of overseers for AHCA quality award. Since 2013, McMahon has been Vice President of Quality at Sunrise Senior Living, where they are responsible for designing and developing quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ed has also implemented a focus on continuous quality improvement throughout the company.

Ed McMahon, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Modern Languages/non-western civilization at Seton Hall University from 1970 to 1974. In 1972 and 1973, they pursued further studies in Spanish language and history, earning the diplomas of Lengua Espanola and Cultura Hispanica from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ed then went on to obtain their Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Psychological Studies Institute between 1978 and 1985.
