Heather Hunter

Heather Hunter is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in external communications and public relations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of External Communications at Sunrise Senior Living since June 2023, Heather previously held various roles at Brookdale from September 2016 to June 2023, including Communications Manager and Public Relations Project Manager. In March 2016, Heather was the Marketing and Communications Director at Elevate Branson, where strategic oversight was provided for the organization’s marketing efforts. Prior to these roles, Heather worked as a Senior Communications Specialist at FedEx Freight from August 2005 to December 2015, focusing on the development of corporate communication materials and publishing over 75 articles as a staff writer and editor. Heather began a career in communications as an intern at KHOZ Radio in 2005. Heather holds a B.S. in Communication from Missouri State University, earned in 2005.
