Patricia Byrd

Patricia Byrd has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Patricia is currently the Chief Learning Officer and Chief Learning Architect at Sunset Learning Institute since February 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at ANI PSG from 2012 to 2020, where they served as the Chief Learning Officer and was responsible for driving learning direction, goals, and policies. Patricia also held the position of Senior Director of Learning Solutions, where they strategically directed the design, development, and delivery of custom learning solutions for various industries.

Before ANI PSG, Patricia worked at eSolveMEDIA as a Principal from 1993 to 2016, where they provided media production services to the technology learning sector, serving clients such as Cisco, Pfizer, and Ericsson. Patricia also worked at Ericsson/TechProse as a Lead Instructional Designer from 2012 to 2013, leading a team in building online learning programs for the Ericsson Engineering community. Patricia's earlier experience includes roles at Mentor Technologies as a Cisco Instructor and eLearning Developer from 2001 to 2003, and at Intelligent Electronics as a Network Analyst and Tech Support from 1989 to 1992. Patricia began their career at the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority as a Facilities Manager and HRIS Admin from 1985 to 1987.

Patricia Byrd obtained their high school diploma from North High School in Denver, although the specific years are unknown. Patricia then went on to attend Metropolitan State University of Denver from 1984 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Patricia pursued a major in Corporate Communication and a minor in Adult Education during their time at the university.
