Krista Simmons is an Emmy-nominated director, writer, and producer with extensive experience in the travel and food industries. Currently serving as the Travel Editor at Sunset Magazine since August 2022, Krista previously founded and served as Executive Producer at Fork in the Road Media from 2017 to August 2022. Krista's work includes contributions as a Contributing Editor for Condé Nast from August 2016 to August 2022, where impactful web content was created for Conde Nast Traveler's City Guides. Additionally, experience includes directing the Emmy Award-winning docuseries "The Migrant Kitchen" for PBS and producing the Fork in the Road Podcast at Spotify. A background in culinary journalism includes positions as Food Editor for Modern Luxury's Angeleno Magazine and food editor for LAist.com, along with participation as a judge on Esquire Network's "Knife Fight." Krista holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and continues to study at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Pasadena.
