Aidan Buckley

Aidan Buckley is a communications professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in various roles across notable organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Communications and Engagement for Sunshine Coast Regional District since November 2020, Aidan focuses on community communication regarding district projects and initiatives. Previous positions include Communications Strategist for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where Aidan managed external/internal communications and media responses, and Communications & Stakeholder Relations at the Independent Investigations Office of BC. Aidan's background also includes producing for Global News and RTÉ, and contributing to projects at Electronic Arts. Aidan’s education includes degrees in Journalism and Editorial Design from the University of Wolverhampton and Colaiste Dhulaigh.
