Nadya Henriquez Lowy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. NADYA most recently held the position of Director Community Business Academy (CBA) at Sunshine Enterprises. Prior to that, they served as the INVEST South/West North Ave. Corridor Manager at The Puerto Rican Cultural Center. NADYA also worked as the Client Outreach and Economic Development Administrator at the Small Business Development Center at the Puerto Rican Cultural Center. Nadya has experience as an Executive Assistant, managing calendars, emails, and coordinating events for the organization. NADYA has worked in operations administration, managing business activities and sales. Nadya has also held positions in purchasing and international business development, negotiating contracts and developing strategic relationships with suppliers and customers. NADYA started their career as a bilingual administrative assistant in the health services office at Highland Park High School. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nadya Henriquez Lowy has a diverse education history. NADYA obtained their Master's degree in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Northeastern Illinois University from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a B.A in Fashion Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology, Chicago, between 2002 and 2004. In their undergraduate years, Nadya attended Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela from 1993 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages with a minor in Business. NADYA completed their high school education at Colegio Canigua from 1989 to 1993, focusing on Science. Additionally, Nadya has a certification in Medical Interpretation (Spanish) from Heartland Alliance/Cross-Cultural Interpreting Services, which they obtained in June 2011.
