Habib Suleiman

Habib Suleiman is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Acting Chief Operating Officer for Non-Interest Banking at SunTrust Bank Nigeria Ltd since August 2021. Previously, Habib held key positions at TAJBank Ltd., including Group Head of Development Finance and Group Head of Retail Banking. Habib's career also includes significant roles at Stanbic IBTC, such as Branch Manager and Head of SME Banking in the Kano Region, as well as early experience at FINBANK PLC as a Retail Marketing Officer. Academically, Habib holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Abuja and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
