Casey Barber

Casey Barber has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Technical Writer at McConnell Dowell in 2010, where they developed a Style Guide and performed various editing tasks. They then worked as a Technical Writer and Document Coordinator at APLNG in 2011. In 2012, they joined MCJV as a Tender Coordinator and Contracts Administrator, where they coordinated project plans and procedures and collaborated with the Contracts team. From 2013 to 2023, Casey worked as a Freelance Writer and Editor for various private companies, specializing in industries such as Aviation, Health, Defence, and Construction. They streamlined bid management processes, conducted research and development, and created easy-to-follow documentation. They also worked as a Technical Editor at Elbit Systems of Australia Pty Ltd from 2018 to 2020, providing editing services and educating authors on formatting and grammar. Currently, Casey is working as a Technical Writer at Sunwater since 2022.

Casey Barber obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a major in Creative and Professional Writing from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in the years 2009 to 2012. Later, Casey pursued further education and completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at QUT in 2016.
